Technically, my birthday isn't until August 1st, but I'm fronting now so we decided to celebrate now. Last year my girlfriend Brooklyn made some KILLER cookie dough as replacement for a cake (since we cannot be trusted to bake). The recipe makes eight servings but we can eat about 1/3 of the whole thing in one sitting. Don't remember where we got the recipe from, it's just written on a sticky note in my kitchen. Here it is below!
Disclaimer: i am not a baker. i am notoriously terrible at both cooking and baking. if you know what you're doing and think i'm an idiot, follow your gut.

You will need:

• 1 cup flour
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup (aka one stick) butter
• a tiny bit of vanilla extract
• the teensiest bit of salt
• (optional) 2 tbsp milk
• as many chocolate chips as you want
• a larger mixing bowl than you'll expect

First, put the butter to the side. It needs time to soften. I've made this mistake before and it was miserable.
The first REAL step: You're SUPPOSED to heat-treat the flour, but I'm impatient and never do and I've never had anything bad happen. You probably should, though. Just put it in the microwave or something?
Add the brown sugar and SOFTENED (not melted) butter into the bowl with the flour. I start mixing with a spoon then move to an electric hand mixer, but you do what works for you. Just make it crumbly. Once it's crumbly, add in some vanilla extract. Just eyeball it, but remember that shit is POTENT. And mix in a tiny bit of salt.
Now, you're SUPPOSED to add the milk next, but I've found that I prefer the consistency when there's no milk. Up to you.
Then just add the chocolate chips, move your beautiful concoction into some sort of mug, and eat as much as you can in one sitting. Then just cover it in syran wrap and stick it in the fridge when you're done. Make sure to write your name on it so your evil ass headmates don't steal it.

Anyway! Some fun updates: I added bootstrap to this blog page! That's how I got the collapsible blog entries to work :p College starts back up in a few weeks and I'm officially going to be a BFA student?!?!?! I'M SO NERVOUS!!! I didn't think I'd actually get into the program and now I have to be good enough to stay in...     _:(´ω｀」 ∠):_

We've moved rooms! We're in our dad's old bedroom now, which means we have our own AC unit, attached bathroom, our own parking spot and backdoor, a minifridge and microwave, and most importantly, MORE PRIVACY! Feels very adult. Still can't live on our own because of our disabilities but this is a big step for us :3

Splatoon Raiders is out! We have about 30 hours in now. Very fun game, highly recommend. Spider-Man Brand New Day comes out soon and we're seeing it with our dad. We'll also be seeing The Oddysey in IMAX with our dad, stepmom, and stepsystem. For some reason, I'm more excited about spiderman.

Here's some fun things about me:

• My favorite foods are red velvet cake, chicken & waffles, and parmesan cheese
• I have my source glasses! We bought the chain on Etsy and the glasses are an old prescription, so they don't work perfectly. Might make some new ones eventually.
• I also have my coat! Bought a regular red coat and altered it myself by hand!
• My accent comes naturally when I speak, but it's very embarassing because it isn't a real English accent; instead, I sound like what a child thinks a British person sounds like.
• When I have hard-switches into fronting, they can look like seizures, catatonia, or passing out. This is because I'm the most fully-formed Timekeeper.
• I have two adoptive children in my system and I am effectively our entire system's mother figure.
• I am one of the few Timekeepers that remembers splitting.
